This exclusive design for the Tussock Bell tent was the result of an enquiry from a established glamping operator looking for a point of difference and level of dissatisfaction with their existing imported tents.
By listening to their requirements, understanding the site working to a budget, we were able to design, manufacture and send this series of tents to Southland.
This tent is an example of modifying a timeless design to create a contemporary tent with a point of difference to meet a clients specific needs. This example has taller walls with windows, external wall poles to create stabilty in higher wind areas . The custom 'freestanding gable' frame was a design feature we worked on with our local engineers to facillitate full opening in the door area.
